Welcome. I'm glad you're here.
People often come to therapists with questions...
What do I do when the panic starts to rise?
My partner is drinking too much! Is there anything I can do?
How can I get back into life when I'm feeling so stuck?
How can I slow down, or stop, my drinking? Drug use? Constant smartphone checking?
My child is using drugs. I'm scared...what do I do now?
That is why I am here.
Not that I have the answers...far from it.
But because I listen.
I'm curious. I'm open. I lean in. I watch.
And I teach skills that may help you navigate your world differently... so that you can develop the change you are looking for.
My name is Cordelia. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and certified drug and alcohol counselor (CADC-1).
I provide compassionate, nonjudgmental, evidence-based approaches for addressing addictive behaviors, mental health concerns like anxiety and depression, life balance concerns, and family training and support for those with loved ones with addictive behaviors.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other evidence-based practices as appropriate.
And I am curious about how I may be able to help you.
